Textile Testing and Development Centre: 
It is a joint venture programme of Textile Committee and Madurai spinners Association Trust, established under public Private partnership scheme,
to strengthen textile industries particularly in the area of technology and quality improvement with objective of making the Indian Textile Product globally competitive.
The centre is located at 153, SIDCO at kappalur Industrial estate, Madurai- 625 008. with a project cost of the programme is 4.5 crores. In this investment the land and building provided by MADURAI SPINNER ASSOCIATION TRUST have invested Rs.1 Crore in land and building.. The testing and Training Instrument to the value of Rs.3.5 Crores was supplied to the centre on lease basis for the period of 99 years under the condition that the centre should give lease amount of Rs.1/- per year and 50% of profit.
The Textile Testing and Development Centre at Madurai is unique in catering to the need of the local textile industry on spinning, weaving, processing, knit wear and garments in area of testing, training, design development, Quality Control and machinery maintenance under one roof.
The "Textile Testing and Development Centre" at Madurai is a Joint Venture Programme by the Textile Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India and Madurai Spinner's Association Trust Under Public Private Partnership Scheme, to strengthen textile industry particularly in the area of technology and quality improvement with the objective of making the India textile product sperior in quality and competitive in price.
The Textile Testing and Development Centre" at Madurai is unique in catering to the need of local textile industry on aspects covering Spinning, Weaving, Processing, knitwear and Garment in the areas of testing, training, design development, quality control & machinery maintenance under one roof at kappalur industrial Estate, Kappalur near Madurai.

Testing fee and anyincidential
expenses if any, are payable in full at the
time of receiving the reports. It is to be
either in cash or by demand draft drawn in
favour of the Textile Testing & Development
Centre, Madurai. Service Tax and other duites
will be charged as applicable from time to
time. |

Customers are requested
to send samples for tests with the necessary
identification mark/number. All relevant deails
of the samples are to be indicated in the
forwarding letter. |

Customers can enroll as
a member of TTDC by paying a membership fee
of Rs. 1000?- for annual membership and Rs.
100,000 for life membership. Members enjoy
a discount of 5% on testing and servicing
charges.
Reporting: |

Our services are subject
to the terms and conditions described in the
Laboratory Test Report. |

Only one copy of the report will be issued. |
4. |
The testing of material
shall be in accordance with the relevant standards
viz. BIS ASTM, AATCC, BS, ISO and validated
in-house standards and shall be as per requirements
of the clients. |

The Test report will be handed over to the authorised representative of the Client Mill. |
5. |
The test reports given by
Textile Testing & Development Centre refer
only to the samples submitted and do not consignment.
Payment: |

Test samples are generaly returned to clients. If the sample is not returned to clients, it will be retained for 7 days only. |
